Radio Altitude (RA) callouts are automated aural announcements that alert the flight crew to the aircraft's height above ground during approach and landing. They provide critical situational awareness in the final phase of flight, helping pilots monitor descent rate, verify height against the expected profile, and prepare for landing or go-around decisions.

You can toggle which RA callouts you wish to hear via the EFB Callout Settings page.

Changing RA Callouts

  1. Open the EFB and navigate to Settings > Callouts

  2. Toggle the switch next to the desired callout to enable or disable it.

  3. Your selections are automatically saved and will persist across sessions and aircraft variants.
