How to - Performance Mode

The iniBuilds A380 includes two separate Performance Mode toggles designed to help improve simulator performance by disabling non-essential visual elements. These can be configured independently based on your system's needs.

Performance Mode Toggles - EFB

The toggles are found in EFB Settings > Simulation.

• Performance Mode: When enabled, this automatically hides the cabin and various other parts of the 3D model that are not immediately visible from the cockpit while the cockpit door is closed and in cockpit view. External views are not affected.

• FX Performance Mode: When enabled, this disables a range of Immersion Effects, including

  • Custom heat blur on engines and APU FX

  • Contrails FX

  • Over-wing condensation FX

  • Engine Vortices FX

  • Tyre and Wheel Water Spray FX

  • Engine Water spray and Reverse thrust FX

  • Smoke FX during applicable situations

  • Sparks FX during tailstrike events
