Select a checklist

Use the scroll keys to choose from available checklists. Use the Checkmark key to confirm your selection.

Exit a checklist

Press the Checklist Menu (C/L) to exit any checklist back to the main menu.

Press the CLEAR key two times to exit the checklist menu altogether.

Complete an item

Use the scroll keys to navigate between items. Use the Checkmark key to confirm your selection.
Completed items turn green and display a checkmark.

Auto-sensing items

Some items are automatically checked when the aircraft detects the corresponding switch/system state (e.g., Beacon Light to ON).

Completing a Checklist

Check all items in the list followed by C/L COMPLETE to complete a checklist. The EWD will automatically exit the checklist menu after completion.

Reset a checklist

Navigate to the bottom of the checklist and select the Reset item to uncheck all items in the current phase.

Batch 7 separates this phase into TAXI, LINE-UP and DEPARTURE CHANGE checklists.
Batch 2 includes "down to the line" and "below the line" concept within the same checklist.

Batch 7 uses the Revised Airbus Philosophy: normal checklists become silent "DO" lists instead of challenge-response items, reducing workload through automation and flow-based procedures. Manual confirmation is only needed for items the aircraft cannot auto-sense.
