How to - Change Engine (RR/EA) or Cabin Variants via the Aircraft Selection Menu

The iniBuilds A380 Airliner for FS2024 comes with both Rolls-Royce Trent 900 and Engine Alliance GP7200 engine variants that each have their own external geometry, sound profile, start and shutdown behaviour, spool dynamics, thrust response and relevant cockpit indications and system behaviour.

Additionally, both engine variants can be paired with either a 4-class (Emirates-style) or 3-class (generic) passenger cabin.

You can choose your preferred configuration to use with any compatible livery of your choice via the Aircraft Selection Menu.

Changing Engine or Cabin Variants 

1. Open the Aircraft Selection Menu

2. Find from the list or Search for the 'A380'

3. Choose the 'A380-800' or 'A350-1000' aircraft

4. Select 'Configure your aircraft' at the bottom left corner of your screen via your mouse or by pressing the shown keybind

5. Choose the 'Variant' tab at the top

6. Select 'XX Basic', 'XX Cabin' variant, where XX is the desired engine variant (EA or RR).
   Basic is the 3-class (generic) type. Cabin is the 4-class (Emirates-style) type.

7. Switch to the 'Livery' tab at the top

8. Choose your desired livery from the list

9. Select 'Save and Back' at the bottom left corner of your screen via your mouse or by pressing the shown keybind

10. Now you can return to the Free Flight menu and select Start Flight to use the selected Engine and Cabin variant of the iniBuilds A380 Airliner.
