New OMDB purchase and First flight with issues of Stutters and Official GSX Profile not good

Featured Replies

I have a fairly high end system: AMD Ryzen 7 7800 x 3D 8 core processor with 64GB RAM and a Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 graphics card.

On my first flight YPAD to OMDB all was going so well until I was about 500ft from landing. I started getting really bad stutters with warnings of my GPU being at its limit however I managed to land and taxi to the gate. It was not enjoyable. Especially the fact I just purchased this scenery/airport package.

On arrival to the taxi stand the VDGS does not work (On this flight I taxied to F13) and after the jetway was connected (using the GSX profile provided with this purchase, the deboarding process commenced and GSX sends the bus for all passengers to deboard from the rear stairs. Even though the jetway was attached the GSX tablet stated there was no jetway available. Very unenjoyable.

Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that your first impression of our Dubai scenery was less than ideal. We’re constantly monitoring user feedback and making the necessary updates, so we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

As for the GSX profile, please make sure “Disable rear staircases if jetway” is toggled on.

Note: Please also make sure the default hand-crafted Asobo Dubai scenery is disabled in your Content Manager within the sim.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

I understand and sympathize with you. Even 5090 won't help you here. Let's be honest, without any compliments. The Dubai scenario is simply impossible to use. I've attached a link to a short 48-second video. It's just terrible. This happens on any plane. It is simply impossible near the terminal. As soon as you enter the taxiway, the friezes stop.

We were all waiting for the second version, but as it turned out, it is even worse in performance than the first one. I regret that I bought it. All your "turn this off, turn that off" advice doesn't help, just as it didn't help for the first version. But again, to be honest, there is no such thing at other airports from inibuilds. So you can do great scenes. It's just that there's a problem in Dubai that you don't see.

I hope that the criticism will be taken well. With great respect

Hi,

Throughout all of our internal testing, every single user reported less v-ram usage as well as much better performance with v2.

I can confirm on my end, after testing v1 & v2, v2 performance is significantly better.

Can you verify your graphic drivers are up-to-date?

What are your sim settings?

Thanks!

Hi,

The drivers have been updated to the latest. The settings are all at high and medium levels, ultra is not.

I think I've found the problem for myself. I have disabled the city of Dubai from inbuilds and enabled the city of Dubai from ORBX. Booted up at the same place and on the same plane. I shot a short video. It shows that fps in the parking lot has increased, albeit slightly. But when you use the Chaseplane to climb up, the shots become what they should be for me. Well, at least you can get out of there. Apparently, the problem is still in the city. Pay attention to him.
