11 hours ago11 hr Going through the pre-start checklists for the L-1011, there's points where you're supposed to test oil quantity, oil temperature and N1 on the flight engineer's panel. Except I can't find any switch or button to test them, and the manual is no help. The EFB "look" button doesn't seem to go to anything. We don't have maintenance or service based failures on the aircraft, so as long as you can see that the value on the gauge is not reading 0, you should be good to go.Hope this helps.Thanks! Testing them is a step in the inibuilds checklist through. Since it seems there's no button to press to actually perform said test, apparently you just skip over said item. (Which means it likely should be removed from the checklist.)
