so, reinstalled the tristar via ini manager. i select the standard cabin and it loads fine...when i select cabin with lounge...the sim just hangs and becomes non responsive. this is on windows 10 running 2024. anyone else had this...AND....What all do i need to delete to have a complete factory fresh install of the airplane? Also, i disabled it in the in sim market place (i initially bought it through that when it came out.). do i need to do anything with the version on the marketplace? it WAS "streaming" but i wanted to install through the ini manager. any help is appreciated!

Hi,

From my understanding, if you disable the aircraft through the MSFS Marketplace, there shouldn't be any files left behind. You could take it one step further and delete the WASM folder as well, just to ensure everything has been removed.

Once that's complete, install the aircraft through iniManager, which should place the aircraft directly into your Community folder.

Hi,

If you're willing to run through some troubleshooting with me:

• rename your old community folder to something like community1,

• launch the sim (it will create a new community folder)

• once at the menu, shut down the sim

• place the L1011 folder inside the newly created community folder, launch the sim.

hey! so sorry for the late response. for what its worth, i did your suggestion above and it worked! loaded properly. currently reinstalling in my normal community to see if by chance it works. any suggestions?
