I have inibuilds Hong Kong airport installed in MSFS 2024.

I also have the Hong Kong City and Landmarks package.

Both reside in MSFS Community Folder/Community 2024 Folder

I am seeing Hong Kong airport in the game, but I am not seeing the City and Landmarks package.

Both were installed via the Inibuilds Manager

This would seem like a simple problem, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Can anyone think of why this might be or what setting I have incorrectly enabled/disabled.

Can you please confirm that both sceneries are present in your Community folder? I've attached a screenshot below for your convenience as a reference.

Hi Matt,

I'm not entirely sure why the airport is displaying correctly while the POIs are not. I'll check with the team to see if anyone else has reported similar behavior or if they're aware of any related issues.

Hi Matt,

If you're willing to do a bit of troubleshooting with me, could you please try the following steps?

• Ensure Microsoft Flight Simulator is completely closed.

• Rename your current Community folder to Community1.

• Launch the simulator again. This will automatically create a new Community folder.

• Close the simulator once the new folder has been created.

• Copy the inibuilds-airport-vhhh-pois folder into the newly created Community folder.

• Launch the simulator again and check whether the add-on is now enabled.

This will help determine whether another add-on or your existing Community folder is causing the issue.

I tried your suggestion and unfortunately it is still not appearing in the sim. By the way, these are the only two add-ons in my 2024 community folder.

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this with me.

At this point, my only remaining suggestion would be to perform a complete uninstall and reinstall of the add-on, as I'm hopeful that will resolve the issue. If the problem persists, I'll document it with the team for further investigation.

So far, we haven't encountered this issue internally, and none of us have been able to reproduce it on our end.

A complete reinstall of the scenery didn't fix it either. I'd be glad if you did report it, but I imagine that it is something going on with my computer.

Matt, I was never able to get MSFS2024 to work when installed away from the C drive. This may be causing your issues, I had to shift the installation to the C drive and just live with the community folder being in the default location to get it to even function.

It’s interesting that you’re experiencing this, as two other team members and I tested this last week, and we all have custom Community folder locations. None of us were able to replicate the issue.

I’m starting to wonder if this may be related to the scenery index. I’ll attach a “how-To” guide for resetting it, which may help resolve the issue.
