6 hours ago6 hr Hi iniBuilds team! I've been simming for a very long time but with years, the better the simulators became, the less time I had to sim (work + kids + ... life, you know). But I still very much like it, and I really enjoy flying your A350 and A340 (and looking forward to your A380). In order to try to balance both aspects, I must admit that I sometimes quickly fire up the simulator, load into the A350 (sometimes even with the engine running, hardcore simmer will be offended), and quickly load the FMS with a departure runway and an approach to the same airport. I then fly a circuit, just for the fun of handflying one of these beasts, enjoy a nice sunset view of London or Hong Kong, and then try to butter a landing. Quick and dirty, but doable within less than an hour. There are a few thing that could improve this kind of experiences for simmers like me (I don't know whether we represent a large part of the customer base or not. Definitely not the most vocal online). I already mentioned one with time acceleration in an existing topic (https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/37033-skip-to-waypoint-feature/ ) but there might be another one which would simplify the flight preparation. For such short circuit, I don't prepare a simbrief flightplan. As such, I have to load my aircraft with a ZFW in the EFB. And I don't have a good notion of what is a low, medium or high ZFW. Sure, I could look it up (and forget it the next day), but it would be more convenient to have a slider for PAX and a slider for cargo. I would push them all the way to the right if I want a fully loaded plane, maybe full load of passenger and but not much cargo for a holyday flight and it's all good, I have a plausible load. Same for the fuel. If you have a slider, it's easier to guestimate what you want compared to a value in KG (e.g. full load if you want to quickly simulate a take off for a SIN-EWR flight, small fraction if you just want to simulate a landing).Another nice trick would be to be able to send these weight and centre of gravity data directly to the "Fuel & Load" page of the FMS from the EFB (like you can do now for the takeoff data). Not realistic, but efficient to quickly fly. Beside simmers with time constraints, that might also help newcomers to the world of airliners, and maybe even people that want to quickly test a specific system in flight. I fully understand that this will not be a high-priority addition, but maybe you still like the feedback and the idea. All the best!
