I am experiencing an issue with the iniBuilds Airbus A350 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 regarding simulation rate.

Whenever I increase the sim rate to 2x or 4x, it automatically resets back to 1x after a short moment and does not stay active. This makes it very difficult to complete longer flights using this aircraft.

I also attempted to troubleshoot using Developer Mode (as suggested online), but this caused the simulator to become unstable and eventually crash when accessing tools such as “Behaviors.”

• Aircraft: Airbus A350 (iniBuilds)

• Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

• Issue: Sim rate does not remain above 1x

Could you please confirm:

1. Whether this is a known issue or limitation?

2. If higher sim rates (2x/4x) are supported for this aircraft?

This means, your system is overwhelmed. If the system can't maintain a stable FPS with high sim rates, it is decreased. You have to reduce settings in order to use higher sim rates. I can use the A350 up to 4x all the time, and during cruise even up to 8x.

I'd like to ask how the 350 8x speed is achieved? The EFB only supports up to 4x speed, and the built-in game speed options don't apply to 350

As soon as you have activated 4x in the EFB, you can increase the sim rate further using the assigned keys for sim rate.

Yes, but fuel burn remains at 4x. It's been raised countless times here and each time the team are "taking it away for review", yet nothing ever happens and they claim it's because no system can handle more than 4x.

I don't know why it's seemingly so hard to add native support for 8x or even 16x sim rate with correct fuel burn. I'm not using the A350 as a result, I just don't have the time to fly 3 hours to do a 12 hour flight. Miraculously, I can use the PMDG 777 at 16x without a single issue - so not sure if I somehow have the only PC in the world that can run more than 4x?!
