April 29Apr 29 Updated today and the option "Rudder controls tiller" on the EFB doesn't make nothing, tried clearing WASM, rebinding axes and restarting simulator multiple times, the ruder controls the tiller every time and it is not only a graphical issue cause the wheel spins anyway, It is an option that I have been waiting for since the day of release and it is essential. Thanks
April 29Apr 29 I haven't tested update 1.0.4 yet, but in most all airliners, the rudder will move the tiller a certain degree. On the L-1011, full rudder travel should move the steering tiller equivalent to 10° steering angle, while the steering tiller itself continues up to 76°. So, what you should see is limited steering tiller movement when rudder is applied, however at a much shallower rate than with the tiller.
6 hours ago6 hr Staff Solution As MD82 has said, Both Rudder (Rudder Axis) and Tiller (Nosewheel Steering Axis) will control the nosewheel. That is how it is on the real aircraft as well and this is what is simulated now since v1.0.4The difference between the two is in the degree of travel. The rudder alone has limited movement of nosewheel, while the tiller can move the wheel much further/sharply.So even if you set RUDDER CONTROLS TILLER to NO, you will see some limited nosewheel steering with rudder axis input alone. Then try giving tiller axis input (to either left/right extreme) and you'll note it goes much further. If you're having any other issue, please provide video/screenshots of what you're seeing and also of your keybinds for both Rudder Axis and Nosewheel Steering Axis. ----Moderation Note: I have deleted the irrelevant messages that had no bearing on the issue at hand. Thanks!
