Gsx parking guidance

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am having an issue where the parking guidance in gsx does not work with the tristar.

It's like gsx does not recognise the l101 icoa code as it does not show on the vgds even at the gate.

I have the tristar profile installed and ground services all work ok but just no actual guidance to the stop positions when taxing in.

Is this a gsx limitation or do I need to change a setting or profile somewhere? Any help much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure this is a GSX limitation. In and of itself, GSX uses default stop positions. You can download airport files, but then they need to include the L101 nose gear stop in their files. Many still don't.

Cheers mate, I posted on the fsdt forum and they confirmed that there is no support for the l101 yet.

Basically as you enter parking gsx reads the aircraft icao code to know where the stop position is. As yet that icao does not exist in gsx hence why it doesn't work. Even if you modify the parking position the lack of icao code means it just won't work for parking guidance.

Fsdt confirmed that support will only become available once it is available outside of market place.
