I'm getting increasingly frustrated by iniManager trying to download addons, whether scenery or aircraft. My connection is not the fastest, but I watch the progress bar at the bottom right downloading an addon, then suddenly jump back 200 mb or so, like landing on a snake in snakes and ladders. Forward progress then resumes, an occasional ladder when it speeds up, occasionally progress seems to slow down- fluctuating speed- but I look away and suddenly, seamlessly I land on another snake and back the download goes. For a 1.4gb download, I reckon I could have downloaded over 2GB. I have tried enabling the alternate download option in settings, but it seems to make no difference.

My latest attempt at download of a scenery made it to 1.22/1.39gb and then progress stopped but without any error messages, or option to pause the download or resume. My Internet connection seems fine as other activities or downloading from elsewhere is unaffected. 

I use a Download Manager for browser downloads, to be able to pause and resume downloads easily, so can you suggest anything for me to avoid these games of snakes and ladders?
