spider24 Posted Monday at 04:57 PM Posted Monday at 04:57 PM I wondered, why I don't see any wear and tear o the aircraft; I flow many hours with the A340. I only saw the tropping oil-stands and nothing other. So I opened the maintanance.ini file and saw that entry on my A340. The Apu, batteries, oil and also the hyd shows me any numbers ... but the numbers from the airframe-entry shows 0. What is wrong?
IniJamir Posted Monday at 11:21 PM Posted Monday at 11:21 PM Hello, I checked some of my liveries to see their values and they are indeed changing and dynamic so it isn't something that is broken our end as far as I can tell. I can recommend to you that you clear your WASM but I am not 100% sure if it will rectify the issue here. Let me know if this helps, thanks.
spider24 Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago (edited) I cleared the WASM the last days often due crash. I restored only some files (throttle and the maintanance). I thought, the gear wear ist stored in the maintanance file. Hyd, Eng Oil and APU is changing well and inside the EFB the values also changing (and of corse inside the maintanance file) ... Only nothing is seen on the wheels and nothing dirt and so on. The gear wear doesn't change ... it is 0 after my last flight yesterday and never changed before. Yesterday I tried to operate the sliders for dirt and weathering and so the numbers inside the maintanance-file for those two entries changed. Maybe these are now changing after every flight automatically due slideroperations far from 0/ left position and only once time ... I will check this. But the tire wear problem is there ... IniJamir Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Yeah this is interesting, I am planning to do more A340 long hauling and such so I will be investigating this over time as well. Let me know what you find 🙂
spider24 Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago (edited) I did a short flight (1h30) and after that flight I compared the maintanance-file from yesterday with the actual from today. The actual one is LUFTHANSA OLD D-AIGS.data The other one file (LUFTHANSA OLD D-AIGS-ALT.data) is stored on an different place and on an other harddisk. As you can see, only the APU, electricity, engine and hydraulics are changed. wear and tear, weathering and hydraulics are the same --> and thats always the same (the plane doesn't age).
