nenzaa1122 Posted Wednesday at 04:58 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:58 AM (edited) Since the recent update, there are occasions where the external lights on the A350 do not appear. This does not happen consistently, but it has been noticed several times during flight. Edited Wednesday at 05:10 AM by nenzaa1122 1 1
IniJamir Posted Wednesday at 04:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:21 PM Hi, Are you on Xbox or PC, are you able to provide media of the issues you see occurring, we are tracking issues with lighting in Xbox already so just want to make sure this isn't something that is already being addressed or is normal aircraft behavior. Thank you. 1
Chris A350Captn Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM (edited) Hi, the same issue here. 📄 English Bug Report (ready to post) Title: A350 (Xbox Series X) – No cockpit or external lighting after latest update Description: Since the latest update of the iniBuilds A350, none of the cockpit lighting (flood, dome, panel) or external lights (nav, beacon, strobe, taxi, landing) work anymore on my Xbox Series X. The displays and button backlights work normally, but all dynamic light sources are completely missing. What I have already tried: Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the A350 twice Performed an Xbox hard reset (held power button 10 seconds + unplugged power cable for 1 minute) Restarted MSFS Loaded the A350 and waited several minutes in the cockpit Set graphics settings to High/Ultra Tested other aircraft (A320neo works perfectly) Result: No change. The A350 still shows no cockpit lighting and no external lights at all. Other aircraft work normally, so this is not an Xbox or MSFS issue. Suspected cause: A bug in the current Xbox version of the A350 (missing or broken lighting assets/shaders after the update). Please investigate and fix. System: Xbox Series X MSFS 2024 A350 version: 1.2.1 Edited Wednesday at 04:34 PM by Chris A350Captn 2 1
MITCH1988 Posted Wednesday at 06:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:13 PM A fix right now is to buy and download the Zinertek realistic aircraft lights add on and everything is fixed. Weird I know. Yes, you have to buy an add on but it fixes it. 1
Chris A350Captn Posted Wednesday at 07:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:00 PM To provide more context: The issue occurs exclusively on the Xbox Series X console, while the exact same aircraft works correctly when using MSFS via the Xbox App on PC. This means the lighting systems, assets, and shaders are functioning as intended on PC, but the Xbox console build appears to be missing or failing to load the dynamic lighting components. On Xbox, the A350 loads normally, all systems initialize correctly, and the aircraft is fully flyable. However, every dynamic light source is absent, including: Cockpit flood lights Dome lights Panel wash lighting External navigation lights Beacon and strobe lights Taxi and landing lights No light cones or reflections on the ground or fuselage Only static elements such as button backlighting and the display screens render correctly. This strongly suggests that the Xbox version is either: using an outdated or incomplete lighting package, or failing to compile or load the required lighting shaders after the latest update. The fact that the A320neo and other aircraft display lighting correctly on the same Xbox system confirms that the simulator itself and the console hardware are functioning normally. The problem is isolated to the A350 package on Xbox. This scenario indicates a platform‑specific regression introduced in the most recent update, affecting only the console version.
IniSteve Posted Wednesday at 08:52 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:52 PM Hi all. This was a bug that slipped through as a result of an FX modification. The good news is it has been identified and resolved and should be ingesting into the MP as you read this. Thanks. 2 1 1
