Swisspilot1986 Posted December 15 Posted December 15 despite the FIXED A350 brake cooling time not correct, temperature of the right boggie extremely rises during taxi. In addition, lowering the gear during climb doesn't help to cool down.
Swisspilot1986 Posted Thursday at 12:20 AM Author Posted Thursday at 12:20 AM Can someone confirm the same issue or is it specific to me?
Swisspilot1986 Posted Saturday at 04:19 AM Author Posted Saturday at 04:19 AM also valid for the A340
Vali Posted Saturday at 03:48 PM Posted Saturday at 03:48 PM I got very easy to 400 degrees on a landing with auto brake med and light manual braking for runway exit, short taxi distance, also very low weight. Black smoke at the gate, the brake fans were on.
Swisspilot1986 Posted Saturday at 05:34 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:34 PM lol I even taxied the A340 without applying any brake and the temp of the right boogie reached more than 300°
Farlis Posted Saturday at 09:02 PM Posted Saturday at 09:02 PM Then it's probably something on your set up. I see it in neither aircraft.
IndiaAlpha Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Yes I can confirm that the brakes get hot incredibly quickly which seem to be incorrect. This is obviously still present in v.1.2.0. Edited 13 hours ago by IndiaAlpha
Swisspilot1986 Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago thank you IndiaAlpha! I haven't this issue with Fenix or PMDG
