v.1.1.9 wrong brake temperature management

Featured Replies

despite the FIXED A350 brake cooling time not correct, temperature of the right boggie extremely rises during taxi. In addition, lowering the gear during climb doesn't help to cool down.

I got very easy to 400 degrees on a landing with auto brake med and light manual braking for runway exit, short taxi distance, also very low weight. Black smoke at the gate,  the brake fans were on.

lol I even taxied the A340 without applying any brake and the temp of the right boogie reached more than 300°

Then it's probably something on your set up. I see it in neither aircraft.

Yes I can confirm that the brakes get hot incredibly quickly which seem to be incorrect. This is obviously still present in v.1.2.0.
