New sounds need fixing

Not a fan of the new sounds after the update. One of the most iconic things about the A350, is the deep GROWL you hear on takeoff, the original sounds for the engines weren't too bad, but after the most recent update, they've been nerfed down to more of a whiney snore at best. Why? I don't understand the logic behind making the sounds worse

 

Apart from that, the flaps sounds are the loudest thing on the plane, even in full thrust climb you can hear the flaps retract as if you've shoved your head inside the wing. Reverser sounds are seemingly nonexistent. APU sound is mid at best. The rattling sounds during takeoff are nowhere near as good as they were before.

I miss that deep growl with the Echo19 soundset.

Any plans for sound fixes?

It's an overhaul as they claimed in change log but is a downgrade for users as there are glaring sound missing, unrealistic loud sound. Unfortunately it will be month or months for any fix given the current update schedule for A350. It's not good inibuilds really need to be more careful when implementing update to avoid inconvenience to customer.

Didn't like the sound in 1.1.7 either. I also find engine takeoff sound, engine reverse sound in various views, flap sound, gear sound a letdown.

Hopefully inibuilds put out hotfix soon after investigation to resolve sound related issues read on this section of the forum since 1.1.7. Some users even provided real life videos sound vs the sound in iniA350 1.1.7 making the issues in 1.1.7 all the more valid.

I will add my findings here

1. The engine sounds from the exterior are quieter, but if you move the scope away it gets louder. It should be the other way around
2. Exterior engine sounds were improved in version 1.1.6. In version 1.1.7. some rustling sound was added that can be heard both indoors and outdoors.

3. Wiper dont work

1. I agree the engine deep growl sound of earlier version when thrusting up during takeoff is gone in 1.1.7. If actual a350 does has the sound then it's bad inibuilds downgraded the sound.
2. Reverse engine thrust no longer heard inside cabin or external views, which are obviously wrong as I reported previously.

I’ve been very critical of INI but I have to disagree I think that sounds are much better. The sounds previously were very good from the perspective of a passenger and terribly mixed. The new sounds are a much better representation of how things should sound from the cockpit and balanced well. Which is ultimately what the whole point of the simulator is about! Too often comparisons are drawn from videos on YouTube and from cabins. The fade out of the engines with gain in altitude could be a tiny bit lower (around 15000ft) otherwise they are very good. Allbeit less “Hollywood” This is on 1.1.18.
