1.1.7 Sounds all wrong/ missing sounds - No more engine reverse

Featured Replies

Hello, Seems like the latest update to the sound ( understand to be one aspect being updated as part of 1.1.7) is a mess! I have tried reinstalling, checking for any change to sound setting in msfs 2024 without any luck... Basically there's no more reverse engine sound in external view or cabin interior view. Its way too quiet now compared to last version - sound missing?

Is this an improvement or downgrade in the sounds of a350? The sounds are critical for proper immersion, so appreciate inibuilds to investigate and implement fix.

yes..such a shame.  I hear very loud flap noise in the cockpit now when airborne, and flap retraction and extension.

But agree, now I have no reverser sound at all  in the coockpit.  Hopefully Inibuilds will read this and investigate.

It's either missing or way too underwhelming as they updated the sound in latest, such a shame as the change log even highlighted and detailed better sound by their new sound developer. Send a feedback to inibuilds.

Hello,

We've noted down all glaring issues with the sounds following this update and we'll investigate over the coming week. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Same here with 1.1.17.

from last update to this one.  Flaps louder then any other sound and reversers inaudible.

Hoping for a fix soon it’s completely killing the immersion on this beautiful bird

thank you.

The landing gear extension and retraction is also very loud now compared to the rest of the sounds.

On a positive note, although the reversers need to be louder for the rest of the aircraft, the new reversers sound much better in the flight deck than the previous wooshing ones.

Support,

Thanks for sending all these sound issues for investigation and hopefully the fixes soon.

Worth also mentioning is that the nose touchdown also now seems really loud (could also be due to the missing reverse sound, hence amplified the nose touchdown). Same real a350 landing video where you could clearly hear when the main gear touchdown (sound) but not necessarily the front nose.

YouTube link (main gear touchdown sound e,g, rattling sound was obvious, but not necessarily for the nose gear) [4K HEAVY BRAKING Landing] Singapore Airlines Airbus A350 Full Arrival in Perth - YouTube

VS

In a new iniA350 recorded video attached, the main gear touchdown was not always obvious (could be a butter landing 🙂, but the nose gear touchdown sound was really loud (at around 0:13).

Please investigate together thanks.

Hello,

Thank you. We're continuing to take a look at all the feedback that has come in over the weekend.

Will lock this thread for visibility. Much appreciated!
