I’ve encountered a problem  for the second time in a row during a transatlantic flight, all the aircraft systems freeze, but the plane keeps flying. At first, I thought it was an issue with the simulator’s pause function, but no. This error appears after about 6–7 hours of flight. Since I bought the A340-300, I haven’t been able to complete a single transatlantic flight. I’m really disappointed.

Exact same issue here, displays, controls freeze and the plane veers off course. Seems a lot of people are encountering this issue.

Made 3 long haul flights without a problem. Now on the 4th flight, I get exactly this freeze on the way back from Dehli to Frankfurt shortly before arrival. Very frustrating! I only know that from the ATR before.

Hey guys! This is a WASM error. These are very common in the MSFS 2024 platform specifically with these birds. Inibuilds will regularly work to try and get these errors out of the aircraft but inevitably until there is a fix from Microsoft, these will occur. Please check out this thread here: 

 

Please take an effort to get these reported because they can still try and work to optimize the bird to cut down on the amount of wasm crashes until Microsoft is able to fix all these WASM related issues.

In the mean time, we have created the autosave feature for situations like these. Load back in within max 10 minutes instead of scrapping the flight entirely! 🙂
