Hi,

Just wondering why the sharklets are flickering on this official iniBuilds livery? Please see the video of this issue here:

I am also attaching my settings here. I am not sure why every livery works fine except this one?? I have an i9-12900K and RTX 4090...

I wrote about this problem (flickering crosses on sharklets (wanderlust livery)) in July on this forum - unfortunately, without a response.

Wow! Really? All these updates and still the same issue for months. You'd think they would fix their current products but hey we needed the A340 first

Hello,

First of all, apologies for the inconvenience. I've noted down the livery causing the issue. For now, you are able to delete the "LiveryConfig.cfg" file within the livery folder that you're experiencing issues with. This will grant full freedom on option selection via the OIS; flickering should stop then.

It is also appreciated if an issue thread stays on track; follow-up comments that were made were entirely unnecessary. We are committed to a continued live-service of each of our MSFS airliners. The A350 is not forgotten nor "set aside" whatsoever. There's a lot to come for the A350! 🙂

Thank you

Hello Eddie,

No worries! I deleted the "LiveryConfig.cfg file and it seemed to have deleted the red portions of the sharklets. The flickering did stop though. I think for now I will uninstall the livery and fly with Cathay Pacific and my other fictional livery from Flightsim.to

I understand and it just can be frustrating when Stormfish posted about this issue back in June and received no reply but thank you so much for getting back to us so quickly today! I see and I am both intrigued and excited.

Looking forward to it. Please let us know if an update for the Wanderlust comes out in the near future addressing this issue.

Thank you,
Nick

Hi there!

No worries at all.
The reason the red portions have been removed is because you need to manually navigate to the aicraft equipment menu via the OIS and change the winglet-type to the correct one said livery uses. The CFG you deleted usually does that automatically. Let me know if I'm not making any sense 🙂

Thank you

Hi Eddie!

I did that, I changed it from long and back to short and the red portions re appear but they keep flickering. This doesn't happen with the Cathay Pacific logos either which leads me to believe it is a livery specific issue.

Will this livery be updated sometime?

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot!

Thank you for the follow-up. No worries!

As for when this is fixed, can't say unfortunately. I've prodded the team again today and they're working on it 🙂

I hope this unusual livery will be fixed soon. I also want to say thank you for your work - this is a wonderful plane to fly, and I would like it to be even better

Thank you for the kind words! The team is aware and working on a fix already; hopefully pushed to the iniManager sooner rather than later 🙂

Thank you soooo much for the open and prompt communication Eddie! I want to Echo Stormfish's words.  We really appreciate the hard work not just from the devs but from the community management team and for bringing this up to them.

I look forward to flying this livery when it's updated. Hope you have a great day 🙂
