Still trouble with default scenery

Featured Replies

Just bought the Enhanced 2024 OMDB scenery. As with others, I had overlapping sceneries due to the default handcrafted OMDB being streamed in. In my case, the most obvious problem was the terminal and double gates.

So I disabled all three of the OMDB packages in my Library folder in MSFS2024 as others have suggested. I uninstalled and reinstalled the iniBuilds version, restarted and still the same problem.

Next I removed in the Packages/StreamedPackages the Adobo OMDB folder. Restarted and still seeing the default terminal.

I'm not sure what else to do. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hey,

You need to disable the Microsoft/Asobo OMDB scenery via My Library. You can see below guide on how to do so.

https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17373373933340-How-to-enable-disable-and-download-content-in-the-simulator

If that is not working, you can try to manually disable it via your Content.xml.
In particular you want both these entries to read as either SystemDisabled or UserDisabled.

    <Package name="fs20-asobo-airport-omdb-dubai-intl" active="SystemDisabled"/>
    <Package name="fs24-asobo-airport-omdb-dubai-intl" active="UserDisabled"/>

Content.XML - Common Paths

Quote

Steam: %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\
MS Store: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\

In there you will see a folder that is named after your XBOX user id. The content.xml file should be in it. Mine for example is richboy2307#6098. Save a copy for backup, and then edit with notepad as suggested above.

Thanks!
