Michael Crichlow Posted Sunday at 04:08 PM Posted Sunday at 04:08 PM While doing a long-haul flight from EGLL to KATL on the A350-900 (Delta N513DZ), the instruments froze. I couldn't change anything on the EFIS panel, I couldn't click on anything in the MCDU screen or the ND. Also, a few of the waypoints had moved off of the flight path on the ND. However, the airplane was still flying.
AaronL Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM I experienced the same thing on a flight last night. I was only about 1 hour into the flight however.
Stormfish Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM You have experienced one of the infamous WASM crashes 1
ProbablyaLich Posted Monday at 05:30 AM Posted Monday at 05:30 AM Had this happen today 9 hours into my flight to Thailand. Will clearing the wasm folder prevent the issue, perhaps only temporarily? Or is this more of a fly other stuff for a bit type problem?
yves3550 Posted Monday at 07:32 AM Posted Monday at 07:32 AM I had the problem, but as fare as I can confirm, it only happens when I made a second flight without reboting my PC; Yves
Xenon341 Posted Monday at 09:22 AM Posted Monday at 09:22 AM Hello guys, can each one of you add the informations from this guide in order to gather data on the crashes you had ? Thanks !
Ron311280 Posted Monday at 09:32 AM Posted Monday at 09:32 AM Same here. Never had this before. Aircraft was still flying but was not responding on any input.
ProbablyaLich Posted Monday at 11:32 AM Posted Monday at 11:32 AM (edited) Xenon341 did you mean to post a different guide? As this one is just about deleting the contents of the WASM folder. Edited Monday at 11:33 AM by ProbablyaLich
