Disable the HUD covers - Permanent

Featured Replies

Hi guys, any settings or config file to disable the HUD covers permanently. I like the neat and clean look without the hud covers. Thanks

If you like it need and clean then the covers belong there.

Every airline that has the HUDS installed uses the covers as per manufacturers recommendation and actually prerequisite to not void the guarantee.

These things are expensive and you don't want any scratches on them. Thefore they are always stowed away with the covers on them when not used.

The HUD covers can be tied to engine covers options. Leave it to the users I guess.

Thank you @Eddie for implementing option to turn on/off HUD covers in the OIS/options. Tested it in V1. 0.19 and works as expected. Neat and clean look with hud covers off.

Regards
