Engines die and no power immediately after free flight start

Hi Guys 

I have a strange issue in MSFS2024. When I spawn in the Hunter (regardless if this is on the ground or mid air) my engines die instantly, I loose all power and propellers stop. This is a new issue the started occurring after I reinstalled the sim. 

I tried to uninstall the aircraft in the IniManager and install it again but the issue persists. I am using the Turtlebeach Velocity Flight deck and as far as i am aware the key bindings are correct. 

I tried different helicopters in the sim (asobo ones and 3rd party) and this issue does not persist... any ideas?

Something even weirder to add - I just discovered that when I click and hold the right hand side mouse button - propellers start spinning - needless to say that mouse right button is not mapped to any propeller or engine action....
