Chudamaru Posted June 15 Posted June 15 So far I'm enjoying the aircraft but there a few things I would like to see addressed/changed. The IHADS is a bit too large and it would be great to have it be all a uniform green color. There are also brightness knobs for this that seem to do nothing in the sim. The IHADS doesn't properly follow head movement for target tracking, the information is the same no matter how I'm facing. Hellfire missiles require being too close to lock on, they should be able to lock on at up to 11km out. Would love to see some variety in the enemy responses. Maybe variable attack ranges, maybe a man-pad that will lock you up if you're too high. I hope this doesn't come off as nit-picking, I have been enjoying the product but see some places it could be improved.

Chudamaru Posted June 16 Author Posted June 16 Real quick want to add some bugs I noticed in the MSFS2024 version, not sure if they are present in 2020. Bringing the throttles to cutoff doesn't actually shut the engines down, the rotors will just keep spinning forever. I found that I need to flick the starter switches over to the override position as a workaround to stop the engines. The mission's voice over doesn't match up with the actual mission. It will spawn in 8 targets but the voice over says "Mission accomplished" after 3 or 4 of the targets are destroyed. The APU start up sounds seem bugged in that at a certain point they cut out entirely for several seconds then come back when the APU is fully running. Not a bug per say but I couldn't find a switch that would turn off the exterior landing light, it just seemed to always be on.

Just on the shut down...The manual mentions that putting the prop brakes onto the lowest setting slows it all down and stops the props. It works.

It works. That just stops the rotors but if you look and the ENG page, and having the MFDs even powered up is a sign, the engines are still running. In fact if you dissengage the rotor back after then they will start spinning up again.
