UAL277 Posted Friday at 01:49 PM Posted Friday at 01:49 PM I fly from the right seat most of the time. When I use the FS2020 camera tool to switch from the left seat to the right seat, I am always placed about one arrow key tap too low and two arrow key taps too far right. It would be great if the positioning was adjusted in a future update. At least, when I switch out and in to VR, the right seat position stays consistent, unlike another popular addon that always returns me to the left seat. I only fly the A35K in FS2020 so I can’t say if this also applies to the A359 and/or FS2024. Cheers.
Solution UAL277 Posted Friday at 09:39 PM Author Solution Posted Friday at 09:39 PM A330 Driver released a video on this today - - that shows how to override default viewpoints in Flight Simulator. I haven’t tried this yet but it looks like this is a sim-wide selection as opposed to being set and retained on a plane by plane level, like we can do with controllers. If that is the case, it would be great if Asobo could address this in a future patch. Hey, I know pilots adjust their seats all the time IRL; it's just grating how this is not consistent from developer to developer, as noted in the OP. Thanks, A330 Driver, for posting about this. Give it a watch, like and subscribe, please. He runs a really good channel.
