WolfbaronX Posted May 23 Posted May 23 (edited) Hello folks I have 2 issues that I hope someone really was able to fix or workaround #issue1 - I set auto compression to off - I manually try to bring it to 4x or 8x it immediately reset to 2x and stays there - Is there an option to go to 8x and leave it there? I am able to do it with many other aircraft Why I do not like the AUTO in some areas even 4x would cause a stall due to wind, altitude so I want to manually go to 8x or 4x when I want between waypoints #issue2 - If I go down from 2x it goes to 0.5x not 1x not sure if I am missing something to make it back to normal 1x I have normal buttons assigned on keyboard I am running latest a350 and a350-1000 to be specific Edited May 23 by WolfbaronX

If your system is not powerful enough to simulate all systems at 4x or 8x, it will step back to 2x. 5 hours ago, WolfbaronX said: If I go down from 2x it goes to 0.5x not 1x not sure if I am missing something to make it back to normal 1x The SIM rate control in the simulator is causing trouble. Use the OIS control to set the SIM rate. Switch off time compression, and you are on 1x.
AnkH Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Just that you are aware of: MSFS2024 has a bug (potentially fixed with SU3, who knows) that prevents the ingame time from being accelerated accordingly, so even if you use 4x or 8x in your A350, ingame time will still only progress with 1x. Which results in annoying time mismatches on destination. But there is a small tool on flightsim.to that fixes this, drawback: another tool that needs to run alongside the sim...
