Why in MSFS 24 is the cockpit and cabin glass opacity ‘smokey / grey’ compared to being clear on MSFS 2020? 
 

It looks awful.

Definitely not a sim issue, as the PMDG doesn’t have this.

By smoky grey, you mean slightly tinted? I believe this has to do with the way the LOD system in the aircraft works. I could be mistaken however - will forward to the team.

Yes 'tinted' maybe, it makes all other textures outside the aircraft look like they have a reduced contrast / vibrancy filter applied to them.

Try it in the sim - all of the windows do it, not just the captain window.
