SimConnect radio tuning still broken in v1.08

Another HUGE list of fixes with v1.08.   Really all the updates have been fantastic and appreciated.  Thanks!

Sadly, the SimConnect radio tuning issue is still not fixed.   I know it has been logged and the threads have been closed here twice before but wanted to make folks still have this on the list.  As the recent Navigraph survey shows, BATC is pretty popular so this problem is impacting a bunch of folks.  

Any update on fixing or suggestions for workarounds would be appreciated.

yes this would be fantastic to have in both sims 2020/2024 (esp with Saitek Radio panel) which is somewhat wasted in the 350.  Even the new FSS 727 has the ability to use this radio panel natively.

just wondering does switching the vhf-1 knob do anything when talking to batc, since it doesn't matter to my set up weather its down or up

Don't think it matters.   However, what I posted about is just a radio tuning issue where sometimes BATC is unable to set the frequency properly.  Usually ok at the very beginning of a session and then stops working.  Could be limited to certain frequencies but can't really tell.   They have logged the problem but it has not made the cut for the past few updates.

Unfortunately, not much of an update I can provide. We are still working through the issue trying to identify it. Been a lot trickier than we had anticipated. I promise an update regarding the progress will be given - whether in the form of us saying "hey we found the issue and are hopeful it'll be resolved very soon" or with a surprise fix coming in a future patch. Bottom line is, it's being worked on and we are as frustrated as you all are. Trust me, I don't want to keep answering this question haha 😉

Thanks for the update and very happy to hear it is still being worked on.  I can replicate it on just about every flight.  Happy to help if needed.
