ahairyrat Posted Sunday at 11:24 AM Posted Sunday at 11:24 AM (edited) I am attempting to set the IRS on the A350 using a coordinate from the Navigraph chart using the "Align on other Ref" button. However, when I enter a coordinate and press enter, the value is cleared and nothing changes. Also, no error is printed at the bottom of the FMS. I have tested this both before setting the IRS to Nav and after in the overhead panel. Am I missing something in the workflow or is this a bug? Tested using A350 MSFS2024 1.0.7 with default livery and no other addons. Edited Sunday at 11:24 AM by ahairyrat Finish sentence
DroneSim Posted Sunday at 12:01 PM Posted Sunday at 12:01 PM (edited) Try writing the N(orth) first then the degree, minutes and seconds Edited Sunday at 12:01 PM by DroneSim __________________________________________ 📺 YouTube: DroneSim
ahairyrat Posted Sunday at 02:08 PM Author Posted Sunday at 02:08 PM @DroneSim, if I enter "N4900.4", the same thing occurs where the field is blank after pressing enter and no error occurs. If I try "N49 00.4", it comes up with "Format Error"
DroneSim Posted Sunday at 03:17 PM Posted Sunday at 03:17 PM Strange.. if you remove the input, what is the placeholder of that field? can you do a screenshot please? __________________________________________ 📺 YouTube: DroneSim
silentghostx Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I was under the impression that the initial page should show the GPS position that the aircraft was positioned at, rather than dashed lines on the first screenshot of OP ahairyrat (as per other airbuses eg FBW A380). You would only use the align on other position if you are concerned that the current GPS position indicated is incorrect. Nevertheless this doesn’t negate the issue above, as it should still work. Could the Inibuilds team have a look at both of these issues? 1) initial GPS position aircraft is aligning to not showing 2) align to another position not working. Thanks!
