Captain Tom Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM I am retired after a 30 year career with 15 of those years as a 747 Captain. I never ever saw a plane with an engine inlet cover, ever let alone have to remove any of that stuff on a walk around. Sure we are supposed to make sure everything is ready to go but not our jobs to get a cherry picker to remove pita and engine covers. Would't bother me except I can't remove them when at the gate and have to start with the engines running on the runway. It's non functional and a regressive step. These planes fly 12 hours a day and are just between flights. 2
LineDX Posted Wednesday at 05:54 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:54 PM 100% agree with you capt. Tom. This is one of the most unpractical thing in FS. I have already suggested to @iniBuilds in another post to make it optional in OIS. Regards
tjockklat Posted Friday at 12:38 PM Posted Friday at 12:38 PM (edited) I agree with the engine covers, its annoying getting them off every single flight. Same with a the a-300. Edited Friday at 12:38 PM by tjockklat
