Sorry for the lack of explanation.

First pic : VS is 0 however FPV indicates the aircraft climbing

Second pic: FPV on horizon, which should correspond to VS near 0, results in -500fpm descent.

    Agree. I noticed when flying with the vector above the horizon my vertical speed was 0, and with the vector on the horizon the V/S is negative.
