Winwing MCDU

Featured Replies

Hello inibuilds development team, I fly the A320 with great passion in MSFS24. For me, it's the most powerful and best aircraft in the simulator. I recently purchased the MCDU from Winwing. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the A320 and A330 yet. Regarding compatibility, the Winwing website states that they are waiting for approval from the developer. My question is: When will you release the necessary data for Winwing so that aircraft users can use the MCDU? It already works with the FCU. Thank you in advance. Best regards.

  • Hi. Back into the swing of things and we have an MCDU on hand. Hope to have an update soon.

  • HI. I need to confirm  winwing has actually reached out to us but in the interim we'll take a look and see what we can uncover regarding compatibility.

  • Hi Steve, Have you made any progress in development? Now that su2 is out, it's time to get started.

Hi, that sounds great! That would be a great addition for many people. Thank you in advance.

Yeah having a HW MCDU really changes the experience. Ini's A330 was my favourite plane in MSFS24 but not being able to fly it with Winwing's MCDU has taken me back to FBW's A320.

Looking forward to come again!

I also purchased the Winwing MCDU. It's a shame we can't use it with the A330 in MFS2024. Please work closely with Winwing to achieve this compatibility.

Yeah, I’m on the edge of flying the A330 too, especially with inis HKJK being discounted, which would make the perfect LH Route from FRA. But im really not sure if it’s a good idea to invest in new scenery to fly a plane where I can’t use my MCDU…

Same here. The winwing mcdu is so great for flying an airbus that i do not fly without it.

Now the only airbus i am flying is the flybywire a320. I am really hoping for support for the Beluga xl, a330 and other aircraft that has an compatible mcdu.

Hope this will become possible soon on inibuilds aircraft🙂

same here, only mobiflight have a profile but no screen only buttons, this is a must have thank you

Any update on this steve? Received my WinWing MCDU yesterday and I am literally blown away how great it is in terms of immersion and just usability of MSFS without requiring to change my viewpoint all the time. And all at such a meager price point.

So I was zipping around in the Fenix for about 10 hours yesterday, doing some stress test of the new MCDU. Just to realize when switching to the 350 that my ini350 does not support it, knowing about the different MCDU logic of an 350 (or 380) vs a 3X0.

Would you be able to share any new information you might have so far, or anything you've been able to uncover regarding compatibility? Even a small update would be helpful while we wait to hear more from Winwing.

Just got the A320 MCDU from winwing would be great to use on the A330.

It would be really nice if the MCDU was compatible with all iniBuilds aircraft, rather than just a single one 😉

@IniSteve Any update on this as this FRED is now already a few months old and I'm sure there's hundreds if not thousands waiting for the MCDU compatibility with iniBuilds Airbus fleet...

kind regards

Nothing yet but should have more to share after FS Expo at the end of the month.

Since yesterday? After flying the Fenix and seeing how impressive and well Mobiflight, the WinWing MCDU and Fenix are working together, I would really love to use it with the A330. Narrow Body planes - if not GA - are just not my thing. 😅

Dear iniBuilds team,

the WinWing devices are a fantastic way for regular enthusiasts to have a realistic flight sim experience that otherwise would not be affordable. It would be amazing for iniBuilds to enable MCDU support for the A320 / A321 in MSFS 2024!

Hello,

Please refer to what Steve has mentioned above 🙂
We'll update you all here when there's more to share!

Thank you for your patience!

Hey IniSteve and Eddie. I know that you guys said that we should be patient but me and my dad recently finished building the A320neo pedestal and i got the Winwing MCDU as the first part of the build and i want to use it properly in your A320neo. So.. can you guys give us an update when you are able?
