jfrank1972 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I am having an issue with the speedbrakes on the right side. Once I take off and engage autopilot the right brakes deploy. I can get them to go down by turning off autopilot, but they randomly come up again on their own. Any help? Thanks
Howard Tucker Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I'm having the same issue with the speed brakes extending after I retracked them. This is with FS2024 only. I have no issue with FS2020
felipeturbay Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Hi guys, During cruise, I observed that the aircraft had a slight leftward tilt. In the external view (see attached screenshot), I noticed the spoilers were partially extended, even though I had not deployed them (see cockpit screenshot). Could this be a bug? Thanks! 1
sunake Posted March 21 Posted March 21 You likely pressed a button on your keyboard or joystick that is also mapped to one of the flight controls in msfs controls assignment menu. It shouldn't happen while the autopilot is on, so until it's fixed you can probably fix it by disconnecting your autopilot and giving your joystick and rudder a wiggle.
felipeturbay Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Thanks for your feebback! i need to check my assignments, it could have been the issue...
Sirraj Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I had the same problem until I removed every control surface key binding assigned to my keyboard.

MaximusDiabeticus Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) I'm having the same issue in FS2024, when I turn off AP-1 the speed brakes on the right side will retract. When I then engage AP-2 instead of AP-1, they remain retracted, as they should. If I engage AP-1 again, they extend again. Edit: After 15 minutes or so flying with AP-2 the autopilot seems to be slowly but surely extending the right speed brakes anyway. Edited March 24 by MaximusDiabeticus
haza2 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Thank you this feedback. Will send onto the team. Can you confirm how you are disengaging the A/P? 41 minutes ago, MaximusDiabeticus said: I'm having the same issue in FS2024, when I turn off AP-1 the speed brakes on the right side will retract. I seemed to get the same outcome with: Pressing the AP buttons. Using the AP Disconnect on the joystick (clicking on the AP disconnect on the joystick literally in the sim). Using the AP disconnect key-bind. And then re-enabling the autopilot by pressing either the AP-1 or AP-2 button in the cockpit.

Powie Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Reported this weeks ago...... Ther are NO keybindings for that.... Ignored by inibuilds...... Resolution: Move the rudder a little bit left and right, then the left spiler comes in......
