unairspace Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Updated to 1.0.4 and it is unable to load any of my own custom liveries made out of the official paint kit. Help is needed from the ini team here on how should I *update* my own liveries. Thanks.
Top27 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Same for me, it seems only the inibuilds-paintscheme works. I tried it with the Delta Airlines (inibuilds-version) and another one I loaded from flightsim.to and both do not appear in the simulator (only in the menu). By the way, I could not find the WASM folder you recommended to clear.
Top27 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) So, I just updated the Delta-livery from the Liveries-option in inibuilds and now it works. Does it mean I need a complete updating even for custom liveries?? I am at over 35 liveries for now... It's weird somehow, up to my last update v1.0.2 that I have loaded everything was too perfect, now the bugs turn up (on my first load for 1.0.4 in FS the GPU could not connect). It seems now all the users that got issues before are now satisfied and the other ones becoming issues. Edited March 15 by Top27
LNOSS Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) 3rd party painters have to update and re-Compile the liveries! for now. Just delete What you have! Edited March 15 by LNOSS

Top27 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Any option for twice model / update version? Just have no backup for v1.0.2 and it means I can not use any of the customs for now (who knows how long). Is it possible to return to 1.0.2 or point3 for a "second"?
MKtheDonut Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I'm dissapointed how iniBuilds seemingly doesn't care about 3rd party painters. No paintkit update, no word what needs to be done to get our liveries running again... 7

Here is a repainter on flightsim.to who has just uploaded working updates for 1.0.4 (China Airlines), maybe you can ask him for what to do https://flightsim.to/profile/aosman7

Top27 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I'm not affected (anymore) personally, but I won't imagine what runs thru the custom painters head, if they even made a huge amount and fleets (for 24 even with cabin interior) and have to redo all of that 1
Trevster Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Not only have they not bothered to let painters know what's changed, they've not even announced the update in the relevant channel here! Not everyone is a Discord member...
giumanz Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Hi, a temporary solution is to replace two lines in the [models] entry inside the "model.cfg" file from: [models] normal=A35K_EXT.xml interior=..\..\inibuilds-aircraft-a350-900\model.900\A35K_INT.xml to: [models] normal=..\..\inibuilds-aircraft-a350-900\model.white\A35K_EXT.xml interior=..\..\inibuilds-aircraft-a350-900\model.interior\A35K_INT.xml This while waiting for other solutions. Greetings to all from Giuseppe model.CFG 5

Greetings to all from Giuseppe model.CFG 309 B · 5 downloads Can confirm this works for some liveries, but not all... Absolutely mindblowing that a temporary solution like this has to come from the community instead of inibuilds just updating the necessary paintkit files so painters can update their livery properly... And I'm not even speaking of the inibuilds liveries from the manager having their own problems where the livery is bugging out (eg. Japan, Cathay, Lufthansa...) Are they even testing their own updates? At least give us a fallback / downgrade option, please. Edited March 17 by boncuk 1
