Direct with ABEAM sometimes does not insert AB wpts

Hi, I noticed that sometimes the direct w/ ABEAM does not insert AB wpts.

during flight EDDM-KBOS I selected w/ ABEAM to the SID end waypoint, but the abeam points did not come.

Then later in cruise first it worked, on second instance it did not insert the AB wpts.

For the first cruise instance I waited a bit and verified on ND and FPL on FMS2 that the waypoints were generated, I did not do that for the other two where it did not insert the AB wpts.
