WASM Crash when switching strobe from ON to AUTO (possibly)

Honestly I could not reproduce this reliably, but at least I'll write down what happened during the crash.

  1. Was on the ground at EKCH, programmed was RWY 04R, KEMAX5A departure
  2. On the EFIS: CSTR, ARPT, VOR1, VOR2, and TRAF with ID selected on both sides
  3. TCAS was in ABV
  4. As I was crossing RWY 30, I set strobe to ON and TCAS to TA/RA
  5. Once I was clear of RWY 30, I turned the strobe back to AUTO
  6. WASM crashed

I'm not sure what actually caused the crash, but just as a sidenote since 1.0.2, I've had a LOT of WASM crashes, especially after departure passing around FL150 and I haven't been able to complete a flight.

  • Aircraft: A350-900
  • Simulator: MSFS 2024
  • Navdata Method: Navigraph
  • OFP: Not sure if flight plan matters, flight plan was EKCH-ESSA
  • WASM: Error during EFIS_gauge_update execution. Error code : 0xc0000005
  • WASM: Module vfs://inibuilds-aircraft-a350/SimObjects/Airplanes/A350/attachments/inibuilds/Function_Interior_A350/panel/inibuilds-A350.wasm is now dirty
  • Specs: i9-14900k, RTX 4090, 32GB DDR5-7200

This might be the cause of your crash! There are issues identified with TCAS. Leave TCAS standby...

Some are reporting less or no wasm freeze after that.

After several crashes, I now had 3 successful flights.

Without Navigraph Database

Without Traffic

Without copy Fp to MSFS EFB

Only Simbrief in use.
