SharpWings31 Posted March 9, 2025 Posted March 9, 2025 (edited) Checking the initial FMGC page, A320neo has LEAP-1A26 engines and A321neo has LEAP-1A32 engines (which should provide more thrust), but the fuel flow in both idle and TOGA are exactly the same in A320 and A321. Can you provide a bit more insight what sources you used to model the engine parameters (thrust, fuel consumption, throttle response, etc.)? Edited March 9, 2025 by SharpWings31
SharpWings31 Posted March 27, 2025 Author Posted March 27, 2025 Also, the engines on both A320neo and A321neo have way too fast spool up from 20% to 40% N1... You managed to get quite realistic spool up times on A350, can you please tweak it a little bit on smaller Airbuses too?
BoeingSpeedbird Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 And spool down is too fast after engine cutoff - almost instantaneous.
