VH-EAA Posted Saturday at 12:47 AM Posted Saturday at 12:47 AM My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I searched the forum and the manual. Is it possible to "Step" through the waypoints in your flight plan one by one, or does the up and down arrows at the bottom of the F-PLN page only allow you to scroll through the pages of waypoints? I step through waypoints on the FBW A380 and assumed those arrows would do the same here. Is there a way of doing this? Also (unrelated) is there a way to centre the aircraft on the PLAN/Zoom map when taxiing around an airport? I can centre a runway and many other things just not the aircraft I'm in! Many thanks indeed.
Dogrokket Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Not sure if this answers your question, but if you turn the knob on the AFSCP to PLAN and zoom back to say, 20 mi, you can use the up/down arrows on the flight plan screen to cycle through the waypoints. Turn on the constraint button to see alt and speed constraints. In the real airplane, we use the “tire”, or little wheel on the KCCU (keyboard cursor control unit), next to the 'potato' (track ball), to roll through the flight plan. 2
VH-EAA Posted Sunday at 03:15 AM Author Posted Sunday at 03:15 AM Ah yes, thank you Dogrokket. I may indeed have to use in the in-cockpit scroller, as the up and down arrow keys on my waypoints on the FMS screen seem to only scroll through the pages of waypoints, not step through them all one by one. I'll give it a go.
