FMS pop out

Featured Replies

My home setup has 3 monitors as well as the main large monitor. I can successfully pop out all the gauges, but the FMC page doesn’t recognise the mouse clicks on the pop out display, unless I go back to the main screen. The EFB works great as a pop out on another monitor, with mouse clicks working well, so it’s just FMC. Am I doing something wrong? Having the FMC on a touch screen monitor when popped out would be great for realism. Is this currently working?

Thank you.

How do you get them to pop out? I can get the EFB to pop out, but none of the others

They all work the same for me, right alt key and mouse click over the display pops them out. I just can’t manipulate or interact with the displays when popped out. It’s a shame, it works really well on the FBW a380.

Same situation for me and yes it works well on the FBW A380X 😉

I actually reached out direct to Inibuilds about this matter. I will say, they have been great at replying and sending information. Clearly, it works on other aircraft, so I suspect that’s the way Inibuilds have made this great aircraft, without this function. The last I heard back was a few days ago, I’ll paste the response I got below so I don’t misspeak as to what they said, but I think this is where we are with it….

“I've spoke to the team and they have said that this isn't currently supported in the sim as the mouse events aren't transmitted back to the sim on the popout screens.”

I don't believe it is about mouse events or other excuses because it works perfectly for PMDG 777  and asobo 787  the team answer don't look much honest

Seems commonplace for iniBuilds to randomly mess things up that are simple and straightforward. For months we waited for the a330 pop outs to even work, the a350 click function is messed, and now the a340 has one ridiculously pop out that is worthless to home cockpit builders. Im sick of iniBuilds doing this crap. They never even mentioned that the a340 was different and pop outs wouldnt work.

what is the typical response? “It isnt possible”…”its by design”. Please….for the love of flight sim, STOP changing things unnecessarily
