DIRECT function in VNAV resets the current speed restrictions

Hello,

During descend, let's assume I have 220 knot speed restriction. While I am continue my descend with 220 knots in managed descend mode, if I direct to next waypoint, it resets all the speed restriction (current speed restriction already in place) and go back to 250 knot. Therefore if ATC gives you a shortcut, I need to set the speeds manually every time until next speed restricted waypoint.
