Long load times every time

Featured Replies

Every time I load the A350 its extremely slow, far beyond the normal initial load times. Currently passing 30 minutes loading, using the most recent version, cleared the WASM folder, and Ive already loaded it once before. Every load has been at least 15 min, initial or not. 2nd load of the updated plane has taken the longest by far. Not sure where to even start troubleshooting this one.

Same here. Managed to do 2.5 flights until yesterday, then had a WASM crash on descent. Cleared my WASM folder, tried loading it today and it's just taking forever on the loading screen.

I'm waiting for over 1h and it's still loading. No idea if it will ever complete... Terrible!

I've gotta say on the previous version 1.0.3 was loading really fast, now on the latest v1.0.4 well over 36 minutes and still not loading... tried loading different planes and they load rather quick as the A350 on the previous version did...

WASM folder was cleared before the update and cleared it once again... still no luck, long loading times, as I'm writting this post it has been over 41 minutes loading...

I've cancelled the start, uninstalled everything, deleted the WASM folder, installed the A350 again and have now been waiting for 2 hours and the circle is still spinning. This is a total joke. Wasted the whole Sat afternoon to get MSFS2024 loaded. No success.

Same. Takes almost as long to load as to do the flight!

I've followed the zoom out and load again fix on this thread and it worked straight away... not sure if is A350 related but loaded literally in a matter of a minute or less in LHR

If you are getting the birds eye view of death upon loading at a gate, somebody on this forum suggested the following:

  1. On the Free Flight screen, select your airport and departure gate as you normally would
  2. Zoom way out....
  3. Click "Fly Now"

it works, I don't know why but what Carlos Da Rocha said works. Thank you Carlos

Once you have selected the aircraft and the livery zoom back till the minimum (scroll the mouse wheel until you can see the whole earth) and then click fly now

Yes, thanks. After hours of wasting my time, zooming out let me launch within minutes.
