Manuel1989 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hello, I really appreciate the work put into the A350, but I’ve noticed that the taxi sound lacks realism and dynamic variation based on speed. Issues observed: The taxiing sound remains too constant, with no noticeable difference between low, medium, and high speeds. On a real A350, the nose gear sound is much more noticeable, especially at low speeds, with audible vibrations over taxiway joints and a slight metallic shock absorber noise. At higher speeds (before takeoff), the rolling sound becomes deeper and more continuous, which is currently missing. Suggested improvements: - Add more dynamic variations in wheel noise depending on speed and ground surface. - Enhance the nose gear sound, especially at low speeds, for better authenticity. - Improve the transition between slow taxi, fast taxi, and takeoff roll to avoid a repetitive looping sound. Is this something that could be improved in a future update? Thanks in advance for your feedback and hard work! 7
Bigt Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Ya, I have zero ambient sounds when taxiing. No nose gear noise, no rattles or shaking of things in the galley...absolutely nothing.

This time I could hardly hear the nose gear winds when retracting the gear after takeoff 1
AAsergeantKK Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Has anyone else experienced a loud turbine noise while taxiing the aircraft at speeds above 5 knots? It sounds as if the cockpit window is open, and you can hear the surroundings of the airport along with turbine noises. Additionally, while taxiing, there is a loud knocking sound every 3 seconds. This noise doesn't seem related to the nose gear but rather resembles someone knocking on the cockpit door." Would you like any adjustments to this?

The same issue remains as of V1.0.8, although the team mentioned that they refined the taxi sounds. The repetitiveness is so obvious that it's very unrealistic. 1
ykeyre Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) Maybe hire Boris to do your sound inibuild? Every update is an utter disappointed when it comes to the soundscape. This is supposed to be the "ultimate Airliner" experience according to your pre-launch marketing, which made me buy your A350. The least you could do is overhaul the soundscape! I'm sure you want this aircraft to be perfect, but please don't pull a PMDG on us and pretend the existing soundscape perfect, only to eventually do a U-turn after 3 years of launching the 300ER. They eventually listened and are now working on a new soundscape framework. Inibuild needs to look around and listen to it customers and observe competitors such as iFly and PMDG. parabas Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) I completely agree. It's hard to believe that in 2025 we're still dealing with poor-quality sound in high-fidelity aircraft. These are issues we should've left behind in the X-Plane 10 era, when nearly every payware aircraft required an external sound pack. If anyone can get it right today, it's iFly, Fenix – PMDG has already recognized this and adapted accordingly. Even freeware projects like the A380 and the A320 from FlyByWire now offer near-perfect sound design. INIbuilds, in particular, should seriously reconsider their approach here. Personally, the poor sound and inefficient main thread utilization are the main reasons why I’ve only flown the aircraft a handful of times – which is a real shame. In the end, after every high comes a fall if a company fails to evolve (just look at Intel). Listening to the community and taking their feedback seriously would be a smart move. Transair Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I think the extension of the nose gear is normally significant (slight roar) and an associated thump as it extends into the airflow.....that seems to be missing here too 1
Hitachi Posted May 16 Posted May 16 There are several sound-related issues that need to be addressed. When the nose is raised, the suspension rapidly extends and a thumping sound is heard — this sound should occur almost simultaneously with the nose-up movement. However, in the iniBuilds A350, the sound tends to play a few seconds after rotation. In some cases, it can be heard when the pitch angle reaches approximately 2.5°, so it might be that the logic is set to trigger the sound a certain number of seconds after the nose-up rather than based on pitch angle directly.
