JLO Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Imagine this, you are on approach after a long flight with the brand new A350, when all of the sudden after disconnecting the AP1 along with A/T on final approach, you notice that the roll inputs are slow, as expected at slow speeds, but they're unusually slow. As if the plane is taking its time with moving from side to side as needed. Everything is a-okay with the pitch, yet you cannot keep yourself on the centerline because the plane keeps rocking around leading to a go-around and a later autoland procedure to get back on the ground. I am aware of atleast one post regarding this issue and I too, doubt that this is the fault of sensitivity settings. The effort put into this majestic bird is immense and respectable, however these issues affect the experience by a landslide and I believe it is worth looking into. The passengers sure didn't enjoy that one!

Itay Levi Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I have the same feelings. It's impossible to land like that. The aircraft jumps left to right and I cant keep on the center line. it's weird because I don't have this issue with other aircraft like the Fenix or PMDG. How can we minimize the delay ?
Azorean77 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I agree,it’s almost impossible to make a good landing with this plane. My last flight the moment I turn AP off I was in the runway centerline,then Ofcourse the plane started to go a bit off,the moment I start to touch my joystick to make some adjustments the plane takes so long to react that I end up landing way off the centreline,I just landed almost in the taxi way. theres no way a real A350 reacts anything closer to this.
Ddw25 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I’m also having the same issues. Been spending all week trying to fine tune the landing but the sluggish controls make the behaviour completely unpredictable. Just can’t get it on the centreline. I don’t have this problem with the PMDG 777. Not sure how the guys on YouTube are doing it.
