Hi guys,

the A350 is a lot of fun, I am already on my 5th leg!

But I found a bug which, I thought, is worth reporting, maybe it's even locked already - didn't find it, though.

Speed: Whenever you switch from managed to selected speed and pull the FCU speed button, instead of the current speed, the airplane shows the managed speed in the FCU window (From the current Flight phase I guess, which gives you funny surprises during the APPR phase).

According to my books and FCOMS, that is incorrect behaviour, isn't it?

Greetings and a nice weekend

I also noticed this behavior during my flights. A lot of the times when I pull the speed knob, the speed just jumps to 250 kts and I have to quckly dial down to my selected speed. I hope this is a bug that they can soon fix because its making the flight experience a little "unsmooth" expecially when you are trying to setup for an approach or comply with atc instructions.

Hey, i thought it was implemented wrong but in 350, logic is different, the way ini implemented is correct. You have to turn the speed knob, select your speed and then pull the knob

Yeah, that's the way the FCOM mentions it, but a direct pull gives you indicated airspeed in the fcu window, according to the A350 pilots I can reference.
BUT: iniBuilds fixed it with the newest update according to the changelog. THANK YOU! 🧡

Hm, just passed climbing through FL100, aircraft starts to accelerate, magenta chevron/ managed speed changed to cruise speed, in my case 300 IAS, pulled the fcu speed knob - the window shows managed instead of indicated airspeed. So doesn't seem to be fixed.

Kind Regards,
