Hello everyone,

I like to create a flightplan with Simbrief and then enter it manually into the airplane. When entering the flightplan into the MCDU (of the new ini A359), I begin with the INIT page of course, then entering the SID and then it comes to the flight plan... When I have a "waypoint" DCT "waypoint" in my OFP, eg "MEN DCT NINUN", i can enter it normally and everything works fine. But when I have an airway inbetween the waypoints eg. "NINUN UN871 OMASI" (on my way from LFBO to EDDM) and I click on the last waypoint in the existing flight plan, click on "Airways" and enter exactly those airways and waypoints and send it to TMPY FLT PLN.... Everything is messed up... My destination airport shows before my departure airport, the SID is completely messed up, the sequence of airways and waypoint that I just enteres is somewhere but not where it should be...

Does anyone has experienced something similar? I know I can just insert the flight plan by request it from simbrief but as I said, I like to enter it in manually...

Maybe anyone can help. I would be super thankful!

Happy landings,

Dominic

Yes, problems with entering flight plan manually into the MCDU. I don't use simbrief. I use real world routes from flightaware. For my case it was entering a VOR waypoint flying in the US. I select previous fix, then click "enter next wpt" and enter the VOR fix, it'll populate duplicates but both are exactly the same. I chose the top one and then it automatically goes right after my departure airport instead of the next waypoint. Please check and hopefully gets fixed on the next update.

This model has great potential, but the MCDU flight plan issues are too significant, and I'll have to keep it in the hangar until they are fixed.

1. As mentioned above, when selecting a WP that has multiples, it always places the selection after the departure airport, no matter where you chose to put it.

2. Maybe I haven't figured it out (yet), but there doesn't seem to be a way to enter pilot selected Lon/Lat coordinates WP.

3. It doesn't handle entering airways properly. It erases all the data after airway entry, and freezes the MCDU, making it unusable.

Hopefully, they can fix these major issues with flight plan entry on an update. Pretty amazing they let it release with these problems.

Gasp, As above I have attempted several flights now and when BATC confirms Arrival STAR and other ILS info. try to input in to FMC only for it to totally erase my flight plan.........AAAARRRGH!!!

This happens every time, making any IFR flight impossible.

When will you fix this? V1.2? and When?
