Every time I take off and engage the autopilot, it disconnects after about five seconds and starts beeping, and I can’t re-enable it afterward. I’m wondering if it’s my fault or if there’s another issue.

This, is most probably due to a situation which the A/P feels it cant handle. For example- direct law, spin, dive. You try and turn on A/P, it just clicks off and reverts a law- hopefully not into mechanical backup. So, obviously you aren’t in that situation…so either a bug, orrrr ai pitch trim is on. ORRR it could be that UOU didnt set it up properly.

I'm having this exact problem and reinstalled the aircraft already, this is so annoying, only happens with this....software no matter what I do after it disconnects there's no way of connecting the AP again, please fix this!

Hello,

Please double-check there are no conflicting bindings as well as all default MSFS assists being turned off. Double check also that your turbulence setting (MSFS settings) is set to LOW. It may also be worth checking if any of your peripherals are connected to a USB slot that goes "to sleep" after inactivity. You can research how to disable said USB slots from going to sleep.

Let me know if any of that helps.
Thank you 🙂
