Cabin announcements

I do not hear any cabin announcements in the cockpit. I have PA button turned on to full volume. What do you need to do to trigger them? This is in FS 2020.

Are the cabin announcements a MSFS24 feature only or MSFS2020 as well.

Activated arabic yesterday for Qatar but couldn’t hear them.

Is it because there is no cabin in FS2020?

You have to turn both the PA knob and the PA button

I wonder if there is cabin ambience when passengers enter the aircraft, with the pursers always saying:"Hello, may I see boarding pass please"? Or ist it only in 2024?

I can confirm that it is no longer possible to hear cabin announcements inside the cockpit after the update, even when pressing the button and putting the volume to maximum. I have not tested it on 1.0.6, but on 1.0.7 the announcements can no longer be heard on both the 900 and 1000.

Well I must say the same. No cabin announcements since maybe patch 1.0.2 ?  Not sure because I know I heard them when A350 was released.  And after a few patcches suddenly nothing. No cabin announcements.  PA knob turned on adn volume to the max.
