Swisspilot1986 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Does anyone know why the entire cabin is modelled in MSFS2024 only?
Luxuryceo Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 (edited) Because the plane is made using the MSFS2024 SDK therefore the plane is mostly made for MSFS2024 Edited March 10 by Luxuryceo

What I have heard is performance, can't believe is because of the 2024 SDK, the model files are pretty much the same and the cabin is a pretty easy model with no animation etc. The A350 has got three different seat variants, ini added the business seat in 6 different variations, economy comes in 9 variations, premium economy in 3 different variations, all depending on their position inside the cabin. Each variation needs 3 sets of textures. All of them need to be loaded into the sim. In 2020 you see the basic cabin with floor, lavatories and galleys, all those seats implemented would probably kill performance for a larger majority of users.
Swisspilot1986 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 The cabins of PMDG ones runs pretty well in 2020 with low performance impact. Maybe IniBuilds can build a light entire cabin. 1
trisho0 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 That's the reason why I uninstalled IniBuilds A350 from MSFS2020 because of missing pax cabin. I stay with A350 only for MSFS2024. Patricio Valdes
Jeff Turner Sky Blue Radio Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Pretty stupid. Jeff Turner Station Manager Sky Blue Radio www.skyblueradio.com
Swisspilot1986 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I wish an entire cabin in 2020, too, but I believe to belong to the minority of users. Can a moderator confirm there will be no modelling in 2020?
trisho0 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 IniBuilds A300-600 for MSFS2020 has the pax cabin. Why IniBuilds is so reluctant to add the cabin to A350? That's a shame! Patricio Valdes
Robert S Posted March 18 Posted March 18 What i ve heard is "they will look into it" and model a "light version of the FS24 cabin" in MSFS2020. Also, there are differences in texturing to FS20 SDK. Thats all i know, they said in theiur streams. This plane brought me to FS24 (don´t regret it), because i can´t fly without a modelled cabin. I already regret buying a devs plane, that has no cabin and fiddling around with the cameras annoys me much on a climb out. I can understand why they didn´t provide a cabin yet as they also have a lot of things to do with bug fixing and bringing improvements. I guess, if a mojority asking for it, they will hopefully deliver. 1 CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D | GPU: RTX4080 Super | MB: ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F | OS: Win10 Home 64bit | RAM: G.Skill F5 64GB 2x32GB 6000 DDR5 | HD: WD Blue 1 TB SN 570 NVMe, WD Black SN770 2TB NVME , Samsung 970 Evo 1TB NVMe, SSD SanDisk 1TB, SSD Kingston 500GB, SSD Kingston 240GB, WD 8TB HDD | Monitor: HP Omen 27" MainGPU,ASUS 27" & LG Ultragear 27" internal GPU | Hardware: TCA Capatin Pack, TM Pedals, Logitech G Pro Yoke System, WingWing FCU | Resolution: 3440x2160 | Sims: FS20, FS24, XP12 | VATSIM Pilot Client: vPilot | Other Add-Ons: REX ATMOS, FSUIPC, Navigraph, GSX Pro | Online Network: VATSIM
trisho0 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I wonder why IniBuilds A350 was created also without pax cabin for MSFS2024 (lol). Who will fly with a converter car in airborne (LOL). Patricio Valdes

Robert S Posted Thursday at 01:11 PM Posted Thursday at 01:11 PM So in the dev stream today, they mentioned, that they will not add a cabin in the FS20 version of the Ini A350. Richie mentioned due to performance. Inibuild has done a phenomenal job with their cabin model. They'd have to deprecate the quality to make it compatible with 2020.

PMDG is remaking their 737's again with a new decent cabin as far as i know, The 777s cabin is ok aswell better than the P3Ds aircraft anyways though when the 737s are done am guessing they will be 2024 only aswell as for the ifly 737MAX totally different developer am only using their MAX until PMDG get their skates on and releases their MAX Edited Thursday at 05:25 PM by Luxuryceo

The 2020 version is basically a downgraded version of the original 2024 version. So the A350 was made using the 2024 SDK. You want the cabin get MSFS2024 as they have done this for performance reasons as i dont think 2020 could handle the details of the A350 cabin that 2024 can due to it being made with the 2024 SDK originally. 1
trisho0 Posted Thursday at 06:09 PM Posted Thursday at 06:09 PM I agree the A350 was made for the MSFS2024 sim, and I believe the FS2020 version was made for kids. (lol). Patricio Valdes 1
